Delete Your Account

You can delete your Travelle account and all associated data at any time. The fastest way is directly from inside the app.

Delete from the App (Recommended)

  1. Open Travelle and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Account.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Review the warning, then confirm to permanently delete your account.

Your account and data are removed immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

Delete by Email (Alternative)

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email instead:

  1. Send an email to support@travelle.app from the email address associated with your Travelle account.
  2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
  3. Include your Travelle username in the body of the email so we can locate your account.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your account information (name, email, username, profile photo)
  • Your travel preferences
  • Trips you created (including itineraries, activities, and cover photos)
  • Expenses you created
  • Push notification tokens
  • AI trip generation history
  • AI chat conversations and message history

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Subscription and purchase records: Retained as required by tax and accounting law.
  • Shared trip data: If you were a member of a shared trip, your contributions (activities, expenses) may remain visible to other trip members, but will no longer be linked to your account.
  • Analytics data: Anonymized usage data previously collected by PostHog may persist per their retention policies, but will no longer be identifiable to you.

Processing Time

In-app deletion is immediate. Your account and data are removed as soon as you confirm.

Email requests are processed within 30 days of receiving your verified request. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.

Cancel Your Subscription First

If you have an active Travelle subscription, please cancel it before requesting account deletion to avoid future charges:

  • iOS: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Travelle > Cancel
  • Android: Go to Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Travelle > Cancel

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription.
